Welcome to the Cascade To Coast Subsection
From Central Oregon and the Cascade Range through the Willamette Valley to the Pacific Ocean, the Cascade to Coast Subsection strives to provide quality information and training to all drinking water industry professionals. We cover six counties (Linn, Lane, Lincoln, Benton, Crook and Deschutes) and new members are always welcome!

The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) has developed a comprehensive source water protection program to monitor and protect the excellent water quality of the McKenzie River. The first portion of the lesson will cover local HAB monitoring efforts, HAB identification, monitoring methods and data/trend analysis. Presenters will also discuss Harmful Algal Blooms and common cyanobacteria we find in Cougar Reservoir and Blue River Reservoir and Oregon compliance monitoring for cyanotoxins and EWEB’s interactive Harmful Algal Bloom Map.
