City of Yakima Public Works has an opportunity for an experienced engineer to join the team! We are looking for a civil engineer with education and experience related to irrigation and domestic water supply at a supervisory project level.
The Water/Irrigation Engineer supervises elements of the planning, development, design and construction of irrigation and domestic water supply improvements; assigns, schedules, coordinates and supervises design, construction inspection, and survey units; and performs other related work as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or related engineering field or equivalent knowledge, plus sufficient experience of three or more years in similar engineering positions to prove independent competency at the supervisory project level.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR CERTIFICATES:
A professional engineer's license in Civil Engineering or related engineering field is desirable.
