UTILITY WORKER AND
SENIOR UTILITY WORKER
Highline Water District has two (2) opportunities for a Utility Worker in our Field Operations Department. Position placement as a Utility Worker or Senior Utility Worker and pay step is dependent on qualifications and experience. These positions are represented by UA Plumbers and Pipefitters, Local 32.
Salary Range: Utility Worker-$5,125 to $6,664 per month DOQ
Senior Utility Worker- $6,124 to $7,958 per month DOQ

Duties: Assists in the operation of the water distribution system and provides exceptional service to both internal and external customers. Performs a variety of physically demanding work using heavy and specialized equipment to maintain or repair the water system. Responsible for various maintenance program(s) related to water system, facilities or vehicles.
Requirements: The Utility Worker is generally considered an entry level position. The Senior Utility Worker typically has 5+ years of experience or training.
