The hourly range for this overtime eligible position is $22.41- $30.03 per hour. The starting pay assignment, based on an analysis of the successful candidate’s related experience and education in accordance with the City’s pay equity policy and the Oregon Equal Pay Act, would be no higher than $27.24 per hour.
The Public Works Water Division is looking for a dedicated individual that has a good work ethic and can work with a team and on occasion work alone. Our team works in all weather conditions, responds to afterhours emergency repairs (as, needed), observing safe work practices and makes appropriate use of related safety equipment.
The water division installs, maintains, and repairs water distribution infrastructure including service lines, hydrants, pumps, and storage facilities. We also inspect water service for code compliance. This is a water distribution position - the City of Tigard does not operate a water treatment plant.
