Cross Valley Water District is seeking qualified applicants for the Lead Utility Service Worker position. As a critical member of the team the lead provides construction and maintenance functions to District water assets, customer service support and water quality services. The Lead has the overall responsibility of directing and supervising the daily activities of the field staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site maintenance and operation of the District’s water distribution system, wastewater collection system, plants and reservoirs, and providing work assignments and instruction to employees. This position works closely with the OM Manager on all compliance items and any other projects as assigned.

The successful candidate must have at least five years of progressive responsibility in water distributions and sewer experience and must possess a High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED). They must also possess and maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License with a Commercial Driver’s License Class A with air brake endorsement, an first aid/CPR card, flagger card, a Water Distribution Manager II certification, Cross Connection Specialist certification, Water Treatment Plant Operator I certification or ability to obtain within two year.

Hourly - $40.10 – $53.74

Monthly - $6,951.25 - $9,315.34
