The Medford Water Commission (MWC) is seeking a Water Treatment/Quality Director responsible for planning, directing and supervising activities related to watershed protection/management, water production, treatment and water quality control. Applicants will have detailed knowledge of water treatment principles, chemistry, hydraulics, math concepts, pump and equipment maintenance; laboratory testing; regulatory requirements, rules and guidelines and personnel management. Minimum qualifications to include a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field or demonstrated educational equivalent experience. Master’s Degree preferred. Ten years progressively responsible experience, including supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will be a positive change agent with a participatory leadership style that encourages free and open communication at all levels and brings people together. Ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license; background investigation required. Salary $7,998- $10,207 DOQ plus benefits; EOE.
