The purpose of this committee is to provide education, training, and information to the water works personnel designed to achieve control of cross-connections and thereby prevent contamination of public drinking water caused by backflow.

 

 

Cross Connection Scholarship Opportunity
Are you part of a Water System with 2,500 or fewer services? Is there someone in your office that can carry out a Cross Connection Control program? If so, you are in luck. The Pacific Northwest Section AWWA has set up a scholarship program to honor Ray Pettie and Bob Stiles. The scholarship will cover tuition for state approved Cross Connection Courses in Oregon, Idaho, and Washington.
